While researching shore fishing opportunities in the Toronto Area, we took the ferry across the harbor to the Toronto Islands. There we found plenty of weed beds and structure capable of holding fish. It wasn't long before we discovered a pattern and started catching Northern Pike almost non-stop.
Re: Yellowtail
Jonathon Marshall (1 week ago)Justin, you may be correct however this picture was taken in 2005 and I wouldn't doubt if things have changed there. I'm pretty sure these fish are yellotail amberjack, they're about 16-20" long in this photo. I dont think topsmelt get that big. http://www.mexfish.com/fish/y ltl/yltl.htm
Re: Yellowtail
justin (1 week ago)Sure look like topsmelt to me and I've been there. There are no yellowtail in a tank like that.
