Jonathon Marshall (2 months, 2 weeks ago)Kim, I do not believe I have this problem on either of the baitcasters I own. Have you recently dropped yours or has it otherwise been impacted on either side? Have you tried disassembling the reel and to see if the mechanism is engaged? If you still have the box and manual there is an exploded diagram I believe. If you're not comfortable taking it apart I would see about sending it to Quantum for repair or having a knowledgeable person at your local baitshop take a look. Hope this helps.
Clive Mathias (19 months, 2 weeks ago)I totally had a fish on right there!
