This is a Quantum Tour Edition PT Baitcaster, with the 11 bearings and “Burner” 7.0:1 gear ratio (thats 28.8 inches of retrieve per crank!), paired with a 6′ 10″ Quantum Tour heavy action rod.
Not many people can consistently put musky in the boat like Bill can, especially on Lake Scugog.
I was lucky enough to spend his Thanksgiving for 2005 in Santa Cruz, a huge difference to the previous 11 months where he lived in Mexico. Staying at a friends house high in the California mountains I spent the majority of my time walking around in the woods and watching these wonderful Koi swimming around their little pond.

I'm pretty sure these fish are yellotail amberjack, they're about 16-20" long in this photo. I dont think topsmelt get that big. http://www.mexfish.com/fish/y ltl/yltl.htm
